In the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, live music performances completely shut down. To celebrate their return, Capital wanted to create videos that showcased the feeling of once again being able to see great music in person. 

The video I was asked to make was centred around the music festival experience, featuring comedian Munya Chawawa. As the structure of the edit was built off of Munya and Jimmy exploring the festival, I was delighted to have “scenes” with dialogue to cut and be guided by the banter-filled performance of the presenters. It was also great to be able to take an edit throughout the full post-production pipeline, from rough cut all the way through to final delivery.
